Germany Tourism is so varied that I will try to summarize the best places to visit in one article and later on many individual ones.
Germany located in Central Europe is one of the most important countries in Europe and in the World. It was divided into two countries since World War II until 1989 when it was again reunited.
Here are a few of the most important tourism sites in Germany by important cities or regions.

Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany
This, in my opinion is the most recognized of all Germany’s sites. Built between 1789 and 1791 in Pariser Platz, in the center of the city of Berlin, it was closed for 28 years since 1961 when the Berlin Wall was erected.
It now represents the United Germany, the past and the present of the city of Berlin. It is supported by six doric columns forming five pedestrian only passageways.
Tearing down the Berlin Wall back in 1989
Since the wall was turned down we now have the Berlin Wall Park, the Berlin Wall Trail and the East Side Gallery. The Berlin Wall was built in 1961 and torn down in 1989. We were there two days after that occasion, and will never forget the euphoria of these days.
Today you may enjoy the Berlin Trail, a route for walkers that follow the route of the former wall; the recently restored East Side Gallery, located in Friedrichshain, a wall painted by artists from 21 countries.

The Church of Our Lady in Dresden, Germany
Church of Our Lady in Dresden
This is a prime example of European baroque style. It was created 250 years ago by master carpenter and architect George Bähr. This church represents the best of Protestant Ecclesiastic architecture. It was built between 1726 and 1743 and suffered a lot of damage during the war and even became a war memorial after 1945. Its re-inauguration was in 2005 with a series of concerts and church services.
The Cologne Cathedral one of the world's most important
This UNESCO World Heritage Site is on the site where there have been churches since the 4th Century, until 1248 when it became one of the greatest cathedrals of the Christian World, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture.
When it was completed back in 1880, it was the tallest building in the world.
